Once Again, the Tom Brady NFL MVP Odds Are a Good Bet

42-years-young, six-time Super Bowl Champion Quarterback (QB), Tom Brady, enters his 20th season with reigning Super Bowl Champions, the New England Patriots. In his time in the National Football League (NFL), Brady has won six of the nine Super Bowls he has played in. The three losses coming against the New York Giants (2008, 2012) and Philadelphia Eagles (2018). With six rings on his fingers, the only thing on his mind is a seventh.

With Brady’s relentless mentality, coming back year after year as an improved Quarterback is one reason not to write him off the list. Placing a bet on Brady to win the 2019 NFL Most Valuable Player (MVP) would be wise at worst. Sportsbooks have Tom Brady’s MVP odds ranked third at +1100 this season. With all of the doubts about whether Brady can produce at the age of 42, his star wideout, Julian Edelman will tell you, “You agree with them sometimes. He’s too old to make those throws. Bombs in Arrowhead [Stadium] for touchdowns. You’ve got to let him know sometimes. You’ve got to let him know you’re agreeing with the people.”

Of course, Edelman’s sarcastic statement came as a result of him yelling to Brady that he is ‘“Too old!”’ following a touchdown pass in the 2019 American Football Conference (AFC) Title game before winning Super Bowl No. 6 for Brady two weeks later.
